In the heart of Laveno Mombello, right opposite the railway station and a few steps from the pier for boats and ferries to the Borromean Islands and to Intra, our guesthouse is the ideal base for making the most of Lake Maggiore.

We have 6 welcoming rooms, furnished in a simple, modern style. Each has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and soundproofed windows, for maximum comfort and quiet. The building has a lift and free WiFi.

You will find convenient parking nearby and, every Tuesday, the characterful local market right on the doorstep. The strategic location and the intimate atmosphere make it perfect for a relaxing escape or a weekend discovering the lake.

Our guesthouse sits within a very short distance of the railway station, which connects it directly to Milan, and of the ferry port for sailing on Lake Maggiore, so you can explore the Borromean Islands such as Isola Bella and Isola Madre. A few minutes by car take you to the International Museum of Ceramics, the striking Hermitage of Santa Caterina perched above the water, the Sacro Monte of Varese (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Lake Varese with Isolino Virginia and the Ponti museum, the Borromeo Fortress in Angera and much more. This privileged position makes our accommodation easy to reach for travellers arriving by train or ferry, and a convenient base for exploring the area and its wonders — including the many outdoor activities nearby: sailing, paragliding, hiking, cycling and the bike paths through the green Valcuvia and around Lake Varese.
